MEXC Global: What is Physical Grid Trading? Features and how to get started

MEXC

MEXC enables trading called automatic trading. Automatic trading is possible on other exchanges, but it is also possible on MEXC. So, I put together an article about physical grid trading, including how to get started.

What is physical grid trading?

Physical grid trading is an automatic trading function. Users can trade automatically within a price range and earn profits. Users can automatically trade by simply specifying the price range, number of grids, and investment amount. But to do this, you also need the ability to read the market. The reason is as follows.

grid settings

When using the grid function, users can perform fully automatic trading by specifying the price range, number of grids, and amount. Depending on how you set it up, you can continue to make profits if the market moves well, but it also depends on how you set it up, so it may require some experience.

Used by individual traders

You may have the impression that grid trading is used by professional institutional investors who make profits from small price intervals, but in the case of MEXC, it is also often used by individual traders. It is possible to continue making profits if you make settings after identifying the range market and trend market.

60 currencies supported

Grid trading allows you to set up a grid with 60 coins. Of course, this includes Bitcoin, but all major coins such as Ethereum and Ripple can be configured, so it is recommended even for beginner traders who are not familiar with it.

Traders who go bankrupt in automated trading

Most of the traders who do fully automatic trading and leave it unattended have a full deficit, and there are many cases where they lose a lot. This is the same for stocks and forex, and if there is a big trend, the system has a high probability of having a large unrealized loss. In other words, even if you have a winning rate of 90% or more, it can all go bankrupt in one big trend.

high risk low return

As explained above, automated trading, whether it is forex or virtual currency, carries the risk of bankruptcy in one big move, even if the winning rate is high. Therefore, even if the winning rate is high, if the market moves greatly due to some mistake, you can lose all the money you have accumulated steadily, so be careful.

Valid for ranging markets

This trade is very strong in a ranging market. Since the range market only moves up and down a fixed price range, it is easy to make a profit. However, if you break the range, it will continue to move greatly, so if you lose, you have to cut the loss as soon as possible.

How to get started with physical grid trading

In order to automatically perform spot grid trading, it is first necessary to open a service account. Please refer to the article below. Since MEXC is a global exchange, events and press releases of listed projects are held quite frequently through the media. Also try posting information on Twitter, Instagram, blog, etc. Be sure to check the market news.

Please log in after opening an account. From the home screen select ‘Trade’ and then ‘Quantitative Trading’.
